What to say man … you are just too good …. whenever I see a new post from you, it brightens my day :-)

  2. Meenakshi told:

This was devastatingly an eye opener! This is exactly what happens. A person is honest till he is given the opportunity to act otherwise. Most of the people who cry foul actually lament about not getting their share out of the pound of flesh.

No I couldn’t laugh at this one. It made me revisit the obvious.

    • Debajyoti told:

i am grateful to you for this comment. i spent a lot of time on this post and was wondering whether it’s making any sense or not. thank you so much! my efforts did not go in vain.

  3. priyaa told:

I too couln’t laugh at this..this IS REALITY.
    Good work!!

  4. Medha told:

That was worth every minute I spent reading it. Awesome!

  5. MP UPPAL told:

Your challenge in the first line works and i read to the last word about the stock characters of our shameless system. With so much awareness, there is some chance of change. It augurs well for all of us.

  6. Mak told:

    Hilarious! as usual.

  7. Shaivi told:

Hahah! Verrryy entertaining Debjyoti! i get the same mazaa by reading ur blogs as I used to get by reading comics in school! How do u manage to make such good ones?
    Hehe…keep up the good work!

    Shaivi

  8. Nisha told:

You’re creative, girl! I stumbled here recently. A big fan now :)

While these guys have coffee in Costa Rica, we can just hope the underworld there hires them and such crap remains out of our country forever!

  9. Kavya told:

This was exactly what i needed on a Monday..!! I couldn’t stop laughing.. :-)

  10. umashankar told:

Well, wasn’t that a true story?

Thank you for the epic; you seem to have summarised the fate of our nation extremely well. It’s interesting how you never forget to take a potshot at voting and page-visiting. May God bless you!

    • Debajyoti told:

indeed, and that’s why i don’t expect any change. thank you so much Uma and i just love blogworld. it’s like a smaller version of the real world, only worse.

  11. Dhruv Bhagat told:

Ahh..!! That’s something real.. I loved it :)

    Keep posting such things!!

    :)

  12. Swarnali told:

First of all, hats off to you for this one. The hypocrisy and corruption that is corroding the nation are perfectly depicted. You do have a way of mixing just the right amount of humour to your posts. Absolutely delightful.

  13. rohit told:

Not sure if this is too cynical or I am far removed from reality.

  14. First of all. I like to thank you for voting my post @ Indiblogger. What a wonderful and hilarious post! Keep them coming ya…

  15. sadly this is the reality ! I liked the way you took a pot shot at the current situation of our country …god bless our dear country …

  16. odyzz told:

This is the bitter truth…the current scenario of the country is depicted in your own unique style.. God bless…

  17. C. Suresh told:

Ah! Debs! Moving into satire now – and very well indeed! Humor with a sting – something I find myself unable to do at all (Not that I do the other types of humor – but I can delude myself there :) )

    • Debajyoti told:

hahaha, i am actually not aware of these classifications of genres. just posted something which i thought will give me some pageviews.

by the way, i am still wondering whether i am qualified enough to comment on your latest post or not.

  18. Agent Smith in each one of us… rest are just well.. opportunity missed or grabbed!

    • Debajyoti told:

absolutely, well said!! thanks for the comment!! i was wondering who is this agent smith you are referring to. you made me revisit matrix page. i hope it’s not some other agent smith :D

  19. This is brilliant. And I didn’t laugh. It just hit too close to the truth….this IS the bitter truth. I know of someone, an old man who has been very honest his entire life, bribe a police officer to get some crucial papers freed. It was too important, and after fighting for over 5 years where he was left impotent by the system, he finally gave up.

    I am sharing this.

    • Debajyoti told:

yes, we have no other option but to give up eventually. it is impossible to fight against so many ‘powerful’ people. it’s easy to sit and home and point finger at others but the reality is ugly.

thank you so much for reading this and for sharing this, and i can see you have voted for my post as well :D . didn’t know you have an indi profile. i have put a lot of effort into this one. so, i want everyone to read this :D

  20. meoww told:

Oh, i didnt expect this ending, although, i should have… bitter truth in a gripping, page-turner effect!

  21. maliny told:

the post started on a fun note and before i knew it was heading to someplace more serious and relevant . . exceptional work there ! hats off to your imagination . . :) and not to forget the cartoons . . you should go for the print ;)

  22. Ajeeth boaz told:

Nice post as usual… Loved the 1,2,3…three times very hilarious… Love the way u mix humor with a message… Way to go…

  23. Amit told:

Your potshots are getting legendary but this one was too close to reality.

  24. cifarshayar told:

Bingo! truth with a style of yours. Nice work keep it up.

  25. magiceye told:

    Brilliant Debajyoti!! Loved it!!

  26. OUTSTANDING–BRILLIANT BIOGRAPHIES.

  27. Shilpi Dutta told:

This was so so substantial !!!! loved it!

  28. Durlov told:

Quite nice. It can be a new hot selling genre called – corruptography. The market is ripe for anything on corruption.

Your call to action strategies for comments worked as well. :)

    Keep it up, man.

  29. Well I have visited your blog after ages and I see it has gotten even more creative … this entire post is a lot of effort you have put in and i must say it was a delightful read! keep it up :)

    • Debajyoti told:

yes, you have visited my blog after a long time. this is something which i have started recently to get pageviews without much effort but of late even my cartoon posts are becoming too long.

thanks a lot for the comment :)

  30. sathish told:

my comment was missing :| !!!
    “you are to0 political”
no no I said “too potential”

    • Debajyoti told:

is it? of late i am getting too many spam comments. probably while deleting those spam comments, i deleted yours as well by mistake. apologies, you know how much i love comments.

many thanks for the second comment. yes, i am political :D

  31. he he he Good job you put a intermission in there :)

they say truth does not sell but in this case its selling like hot cakes :)

  32. dNambiar told:

Nice to see the khaki uniform and the Nehru topi in the Oval Office. :)

Are Ram and Shyam connected to the ‘respected blogger?’ They all seem to be hanging out in the same basement. What a small world, right? :D

  33. gayatri soni told:

You have that crazy mind that you could bring humor even to serious things! I am afraid, if any Shiv Sena activist, policemen, or politician would file an FIR against you. I loved, in fact I love, your every effort. Keep it up! :)

  34. Shweta told:

Really enjoyed reading it! Sigh, wish I could remain hopeful for this lovely country of mine! Btw, sometimes your rage showed through the satire :) I plan to write a satire soon too…Adding your site on my bloglist!

    • Debajyoti told:

unfortunately, i don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. looking forward to that satire which you are going to write!

thank you so much for visiting my blog and adding my site :) , which probably means i will get more comments from you in future :D

  35. Asha told:

Great Deb ! Too good. You have told a whole life story – You can change from rags to riches but corrupt will always be corrupt !!

  36. rajnisinha told:

loved the one in which you have shown how they excelled in their respective professions —and also how they saved our culture from western invasion

each one showcases Indian society as it is today

  37. saikatmbka told:

hilarious as uzual :D ,,,btw Happy new year :)
    keep blogging :)

  38. After reading your last post I thought this one is best then you come up with a new one… This one was just the reflection of our society… every panel is well detailed, I liked the touch of tata *oops* bye-bye tea, (but I like those adds)… and when shayam says that in every one (almost) he is hidden, that is the crude reality.
keep making such scripts. They are not just hilarious but a mirror as well.
And I like your take on bloggers… :)

  39. vandana told:

awesome… the truth of our society..

  40. The Fool told:

This was just amazing. Good to see you moving your cross hairs towards targets other than bloggers.

    • Debajyoti told:

thanks a lot!! i constantly look for targets :D . by the way, loved your post on Chandigarh, their pick autos and courteous cops. not sure whether i commented or not.

  41. Akash told:

Just awesome and makes me think!!

  42. Cool!!! Loved those minor but most hilarious touches …. Intermission-popcorn and the 123 times head turn…. :-D

  43. Very impressive work… Truth said in a different flavor… Corruption rocks in our country and you have made it all so glamorous…the satire comes out really well.
