Hahaha! Reminds me of that joke, Debajyoti! “Do you know that chap became a millionaire in just a few months by playing the stock-markets!” “Wow! Wonderful!” “Yeah! He was a billionaire before that!”
Lolzz…..volatile trading in this highly uncertain market…:D , no wonder my dad lost enough fortune in trading…he is still recovering
gud wrk Deb amusing as usual
well, this is the easiest way to keep my blog alive. will do that for some more time. read your post a couple of times, not sure if i have understood that completely. will give it one more try later.
hahaha, no i just wanted to create a regular office guy who starting investing. few years back when Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi declared their assets (official figure), i was going through their portfolio (whatever was available on public domain) and i learned that they have all crappy shares in their portfolio .
thanks a lot for the comment Raj. i have lost all my visitors because of my recent posts . so every comment is making me really happy
nah, these are just fillers. whenever i don’t feel like writing anything, i do these cartoons. it hardly takes any time and you don’t have to think much . if i write the same thing, it wouldn’t sound funny. and stock market jokes are all on the same line.
Lol ! I keep away from the stock market … I remember there used to be a site where you could do trading just for fun … I went only that far … never dared to go beyond or I might have been selling tea at some place by now … but you never know might have been a billionaire as well
there is a site called moneybhai.com where you can play stock market stock market just for fun. i have lost money there as well. but once you enter the market, it’s really difficult to stay away from it. nothing can match the adrenaline rush that you get from trading
thanks Sohini. actually visual representation of anything creates more impact. so, you actually don’t need great stuff for cartoons. narrating a humor post is more difficult.
I always tend to mess up with humor though, for me, it’s the most difficult one!
And you’re so good at it, both with the cartoons and the narration! kudos!
ha ha …i remember an inetrview of the great economist, prof Amartya Sen,he said,”Every person should invest atleast 10% of his income on share markets”.Today i know he was right because it helps to boost our economy in the same waylike paying taxes. We should,t be afraid of shar bazaar.Invest less, learn more and then you invest more, more profit.
you have to be really lucky to make money from share market on a regular basis. some people keep money on front line stocks for a long period (very long period) and they make some profit.
This is a very good cartoon. Very aptly put. Investing and earning are two different things in stock markets. Hence, its always advisable to go through the mutual funds route for a small investor, so he/she does not end up in this way!
lol ! amazing ! amazing ! very nice !
i am not expecting any comments on this post, so thank you so much for the comment
. yours is going to be the first and last comment here
Hahaha! Reminds me of that joke, Debajyoti! “Do you know that chap became a millionaire in just a few months by playing the stock-markets!” “Wow! Wonderful!” “Yeah! He was a billionaire before that!”
hahaha, that’s an awesome joke. didn’t know this one. thanks a lot for sharing this joke and thanks for the comment

thanks Saikat!! even i am trying to recover from the shock
mera bhi TUKKA kab lagega , I am waiting for that day when i can be a billianaire from a HUNDREDAIRE… just by playing the market
even i waited for a long time and now am looking for an alternate option. but it’s fun as long as you don’t lose much
The Dark Kartunight Rises!
well, this is the easiest way to keep my blog alive. will do that for some more time. read your post a couple of times, not sure if i have understood that completely. will give it one more try later.
Worry not! Its just like a cricketer playing baseball!
i do watch baseball (the ones played in hollywood movies), so would love to understand that as well.
he hee! From riches to rags, literally. Not quite the Cinderella story, eh!
definitely not the Cinderella story. it can be a really really painful story, something which you would like to forget
I second Umashankar here. Your cartoons bring down the house (every single time)!
btw.. the budding investor on the left had a striking similarity to Rahul Gandhi!
Pun intended or not.. it was metaphorically ironic!
hahaha, no i just wanted to create a regular office guy who starting investing. few years back when Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi declared their assets (official figure), i was going through their portfolio (whatever was available on public domain) and i learned that they have all crappy shares in their portfolio

I remember your post on stock markets
You should create a section for these cartoons. They would make a great collection some day.

How the tables turn literally!
.
and it can turn pretty quickly and it all depends on your enthusiasm
See that’s why I never invested in shares. I don’t know how to make tea.
i know how to make tea and i see myself doing it few years down the line
let me know if you need an assistant, deb.
it would be a miracle if i can still open a tea shop considering the rate at which my share prices are going down.
you’re growing smart at this stuffs…
hahaha, yeah i endorse your view
. actually, i am slowly understanding how the tools work.
LOL…ha ha…Good One Deb!!!
thanks Jayashree!! will post some more soon
hahaha, just want some activities on my blog. planning to write a long post. don’t know when i will finish that.

Your understanding and depiction of subjects is so spot on.
hehehe, thanks Minnie! i am going to post these cartoons for sometime till i come up with a long post. and you have to comment
wow very nice……
hahaha, thank you so much!!
Funny indeed!
thank you so much!
This is the cycle of change so well depicted.Your cartoons demand close scrutiny & then some thinking!
yeah the font size is small, so, a close scrutiny is required
.
thanks for the comment Indu. i was going through your poetry, unfortunately, i didn’t understand anything
Deb, You’re amazingly amusing
thanks a lot Amit. Glad you liked it
another great stuff! how i envy your sense of humour!!
thanks Sohini. actually visual representation of anything creates more impact. so, you actually don’t need great stuff for cartoons. narrating a humor post is more difficult.

Hi
This is a very good cartoon. Very aptly put. Investing and earning are two different things in stock markets. Hence, its always advisable to go through the mutual funds route for a small investor, so he/she does not end up in this way!
thank you so much. agree with you. moreover, mutual funds have given decent and steady returns over the past few years.
HaHaHa. This is a nice one.
thank you so much
Lol good one,, thin line between trader and investor,, former seldom knows he’s trader.. he’ll rightfully want to be perceived as latter
exactly, everyone wants some return ASAP
. thanks for the comment.
problem with share market is; it is run by traders, not investors !
Good one !
oh, i forgot to check some of the share prices today. your comment reminded me. thanks a lot
ah now this is scary!!
hahaha, indeed! many thanks for the comment!
