In the shadow of dusk,
I sharpen my tusk.
I don my predatory mask,
Call me evil, call me nefarious.
I hum, I hum,
I drink human rum.
You call me your chum
and I will strike with venom.
I can see that crimson flow,
hide in a palace or a ghetto.
Fear me, I am your foe!
I am the queen, I am the mosquito.

This poem is good. Clap, clap, clap, clap. It makes more sense than previous one and it’s something we can all relate to. Evil indeed… I know how much of my B+ rum these foes of mine have enjoyed.
Do you really need the second ‘the’ in the first line? I think it would sound better without it.

well, after my friend suggested me those lines, i had to write this mosquito poem. and somehow managed to get few rhyming words to go with those lines
Hope the mosquitoes read this…they’re going to loooove the thought that a rare soul chose to write a dedicated poem on them!!
no everyone thought my previous poem was about mosquitoes hence this revolutionary work. moreover, i got inputs from my friend so it was cool
