I was actually doing a cartoon on copycat bloggers but unfortunately, they stopped copying all of a sudden. So, I am just waiting for them to continue what they have been doing so that my post makes sense.

    • Debajyoti told:

but i am reading your posts sincerely (not blindly voting for them :D ). at times i cannot come up with a suitable comment. many thanks for this lovely comment and yes i am rockiing :D

      • gayatri soni told:

Feeling good that you read them. We all post our thoughts so that we should get read, even I don’t comment every time. Though I have written there that I’m open to brickbats, but if you don’t feel like commenting there you could mail me what you don’t like about the particular post. I would love it, respectfully, really! :)

        • Debajyoti told:

no no, it’s not about not liking a post. at times i am not fully aware of the subject or i feel my comment won’t make any sense. however, will make sure, i comment from next time :)

          • gayatri soni told:

Oho, Again you have mistaken me! I’m not complaining about anything, and if you don’t feel like commenting, it’s Ok (as I said: I also don’t comment every time- for the same reasons ;) ). I’m just making a humble request to let me know my faults if you ever come through them, and if you dissent- don’t need to nod every time with me.

Sorry, to bring conversation forum to your post.

    http://www.anucreations.blogspot.in

  22. awesome post .. it’s a kind of mirror that reflects what every blogger thinks how the blog operates :P

  23. cifarshayar told:

post was nice as usual expected from you,but humour is little bit lacking in this post

  24. Just write them, dude. Don’t think so much.

  25. Rahul told:

That is hitting under the belt with a post:)

  26. umashankar told:

Those are some deep truths. It calls for some soul-searching among many hurtling on the freeway of blogging. The problem is rendered impossible for an astound majority though. They just don’t have souls.

It is a exquisite, meaningful comic strip Deb. Suddenly, you are not joking at all. I simply enjoyed it. And if you will allow me a little bragging, I am not a part of the back-scratching brigade. No, sir. No one knows this better than you. And indeed, I am the most reviled guest-blogger around. Any doubts?

    • Debajyoti told:

yes, i know that. i have seen your comments on some exceptional yet lesser known blogs.

exactly, we need to correct ourselves before pointing finger at anyone, which is applicable in blogworld as well. and the reason why i write satires mostly on bloggers is because i know they are the only people who read my posts. and they give me enough fodder for my posts :D .

but i guess i will get back to my regular posts now.

  27. What do I say……you are mean, hilarious, entertaining, and always fishing for comments ;p And I adore your posts. Keep ‘em comin :D

Are you planning to write a book? You must. I am yet to see anything that trumps you in satire.

  28. You always came up with hilarious and tickling post that deserve positive feedback. Look forward to you next post…

  29. Sadhana told:

There are some truth in it. Very nice post

  30. You have worked hard to create this post. My son is an animator, and I have seen how much effort it takes to create each of those toons.. BTW, good post with a look into psyche of blogger ;)

    • Debajyoti told:

no no, i just use the tools provided by some sites to create cartoons. not much skill or effort required here :D . what your son does is really tough and i would love to learn that. thanks a lot for the comment :)

  31. I can see the past here. A visit for a visit. A vote for a vote. A comment for a comment. And what not. Been there done that. But these days I’ve realised I’ve been talking to myself on my blog. As soon as I stopped jumping blog to blog, the audience and the number of it that I had vanished. Reality hit me but didn’t hurt as I knew what I had been doing till then :-D

Luckily I didn’t have to wait till you published this post that could have been an Eye Opener for sure. Well I’m happy these days to be commenting on the blogs that I’m actually reading! Do the deed, don’t worry about the fruit :-D

Inspired to confess…. Need I praise your post anymore?

    • Debajyoti told:

wow! please don’t, i am not accustomed to hearing so much praise. this is more than enough for next one month at least :D .

i am still doing this – vote for a vote, comment for a comment. as a matter of fact, i vote for almost everything that pops up on indivine (i have already written a post on that :D ). may be even i will stop one day.

thank you so much for this wonderful comment!!

  32. gee :) that’s a good one

  33. odyzz told:

Egggzzaactlyyy true… :) I too felt the same as I stepped into the blogger world..they work on the funda of an eye for an eye ,a tooth for a tooth( a like for a like and a commen for a comment)…I am still trying to figure out the things ,you have penned down so aptly with a comical garnish…(I have a lot to write on this but I don’t wanna mess out your space)..:)

  34. rocking post debajyoti!! these thoughts have crossed my mind so many times! but there’s hardly anything we can do about it….its a ‘u scratch my back, i scratch ur back’ kinda situation for some!!

  35. Kirti Gautam told:

  36. vandana told:

    this is bitter truth…:P

  37. gus told:

I know I’m reading this post 10 days from when you posted it! But it doesnt matter as I read it for fun, without any ‘voting’ favors! :P Fantastic point made with the cartoon. What makes it funnier is the sarcasm. Bingo! :D

  38. The Fool told:

Back at bloggers again, eh? You have indepth understanding of the ways of the blogging world. One by one you are taking the wind out of the sails issue by issue.

    • Debajyoti told:

absolutely, that’s the only way i can get some new visitors :D . but guess, i am done with these cartoons for now. i have quite a few long posts in my d-drive which i would love to publish.

  39. Surya Murali told:

For all the smiles your writing brings me… I have nominated you for the Liebster award…
You probably know the details being a frequent and well followed blogger… but if you need to be refreshed, here they are ;)

    http://theradiantisotope.blogspot.in/2013/02/and-liebster-goes-to.html

    • Debajyoti told:

thanks a lot for the award and for visiting my blog after almost one year :D . so, you are still playing these award award games :D

      • Surya Murali told:

Lol!… Not after a year… I do get updates on my rss feed.
But am lazy… and I blog much less frequently than ever…
The Award game… lol! I actually got a nomination and was shocked that someone actually read my blog… In all that excitement I decided to really do something about that nomination. :D

        • Debajyoti told:

that’s cool. i post these cartoons for lazy readers :D . you can check out once in a while. i want the entire world reading my blog :D .

          continue to win awards :)

          • Surya Murali told:

            My My… Ambitious…aren’t we?! :D
But… you really have a great talent to make people laugh… and pssst… sarcasm is probably the only type of humor I get… so there. :)

Wish you loads of luck with that world dominance wish…er… blog dominance, I mean!

    • Debajyoti told:

did you actually like it? psst, they are real characters of blogworld and most of the people who commented here know them :D . that’s why they found this post interesting. thanks a lot for reading this.

      • Soumya Gupta told:

Oh great! Now I sound like one of those hypocrites (in reference to your how to be a respected blogger post). XD
No though, I actually liked it. You could say that I’m pretty sadistic, so I lik e it when people’s faults are made fun of in a not-so-subtle way.
I mean, that’s a pretty legit conversation, for people who’re on the internet and want to be heard. It’s a classroom full of shouting students, and each wants to be heard.

        • Debajyoti told:

exactly. actually after your comment, i read this post again and found it bit ordinary (not that my other posts are masterpieces).

btw, even i am bit sadistic :D .

  44. Hema Raajen told:
