hahaha…I like the last one best…:P

  2. Irshad told:

    Last part was really funny:D..

  3. hahahahah!!! Superlike, especially the last one.

“actually, i cannot find the errors till i click the publish button” – me tooo!!!!!

    • Debajyoti told:

even you liked the last one. need to redo the first three :D

at times, i feel ashamed of myself for publishing poorly written, poorly proofread posts but i realize that only after i publish them :(

      • Ah! You don’t need to :) ) There is one thing I learned while blogging – it’s the content that matters. You can keep proof reading it a month later too. Few care, and those who do, well, too bad.

I have made some terrible errors myself. They were totally cringe inducing, and yet I found them after a week of their having been published, read, and commented. Yet I proofread so many times. I have done that even in my columns that I write for magazines and landed a warning from the editor :-(

So no worries, you are right up there with the rest of us.

        • Debajyoti told:

hahaha, i actually do that but no one reads those posts after i finish all the editing. i scream – “someone please read this one now” but in vain :D .

you make errors in your column as well :D . then its cool. i can click the publish button without thinking too much about the errors :D . we can always correct them later.

  4. umashankar told:

The last one takes the Crown Cake. But that is not to say the others are any less hilarious. I think those are all valiant attempts at self-actualisation gone awry! :D Next time I feel like inserting a cartoon clip in my blog, I know who to fall back on! Carry on, Hergé!

    • Debajyoti told:

i love doing these cartoons. this is a new site which i found and it has more options. so yeah, just let me know whenever you need cartoons for your posts :D

first three are from real life experiences of people i know :D

  5. Swarnali told:

Haha, i loved the first and the last ones most :D Its the same case with me..>i never seem to find the errors in my post until i publish them and read them after that. Its weird all the errors seem to be invisible before that!!! :P

  6. magiceye told:

you sure saved the best for last!!
    lovely!

  7. C. Suresh told:

Hi Debajyothi! Great! Did u perchance mean that alcohol contributes bloggers to Society? That is how this set of cartoons read to me and, if so, no further need for editing. This set is great as it is!

Btw, you are better off than me. I cannot even find how bad my posts are after I publish. I find that out only when readers shun my blog with marked disdain:):)

    • Debajyoti told:

hahaha, yes, i actually meant that :D .

not only posts, i find errors with my comments as well, but only after i click on submit. if it’s on my blog then i can edit them later otherwise i just pray to god that people don’t notice that.

as far as your posts are concerned, i don’t think i will ever be able to find any error.

  8. Amit told:

I was expecting a ‘drunk man puking’ cartoon also as I moved down. :)
    The last one was great.

  9. alka narula told:

  11. priyaa told:

    hahha! mast ekdum ….. :-D
i too cant find errors untill i publish and keep on editing evn after one week f publish…

  12. Amit Agarwal told:

Ha ha ha…a real grrreat set :D
The last one is the greatest :D
..but pleeease Deb, don’t give us a drunk man puking. :( It badly hurts the aesthetics…

    • Debajyoti told:

hahaha, thanks a lot Amit :D

even i thought it might not look good and that’s why i didn’t put that drunk man puking. in future if i use the idea, i will do it strategically :D

  13. Rachna told:

You are quite a talent. I loved them all, but of course, the last one is the best of the lot :) . We have such folks populating our mailing lists as well. They will clog our inboxes with their rants on everything on earth. That would make for a good cartoon too.

    • Debajyoti told:

thank you so much. i guess, i will be subjected to public wrath soon :D . but cartoon is good, people won’t take it seriously :D . i need lots of ideas for my cartoons. so yeah, thanks for that, will use that in future :)

  14. hahaha nice one

  15. d.Nambiar told:

hahaha, i know :D . barring the last one other three happened to people i know :D

you have a new profile picture :D . that blank one was unique though. no one has a blank gravatar :D

      • Jaishvats told:

Ha ha deb , I had actually uploaded the same photo as my google profile . Some technical error it became blank and I realized that only when I changed it ha ha :D

  19. Jay told:

Whoaa…..that was a good round of laugh and stress busted (POWW !!!!!)
Now, why is it that the dude in the last pic looks like you??? :p :p :p
Any insight into that, Debajyoti? :D

  20. Ashblogger told:

Nice drawings. Do use some software to draw them ?

  21. Mani Kumar told:

    Hahaha. funny!

  22. megha told:

You actually did the graphics? Pretty rad!
(The developer in me speaks before the writer ;) )
    Funny stuff!

    • Debajyoti told:

ummmm.. actually, there are sites which provide the tools to create cartoons. so you can create characters, select a background (or create one), use the props, change posture, facial expression etc and make a story. it’s fun. if you go through these sites you will understand how it works. every cartoon you create will have your name on it and you have the copyright (like these cartoons have my name on the right hand side). so yeah, i will take the credit :D . but i would really love to learn how to draw sketches.

      many thanks for the comment.
